Congratulation to Chen-Ching (Vicky) on passing her sufficiency exam today. Vicky delivered a nice seminar to the entire department on October 25th at 1 PM and then presented her thesis work for the committee members. After some discussion, lots of questions and answers the committee accepted her experimental part of the dissertation as sufficient for the PhD thesis. From now on, Vicky is expected to write her dissertation and defend her thesis in February 2017. Good job Vicky!
