Our graduate student Yoel Sitbon passed his PhD proposal on September 27th! His research focuses on mutations on ELC leading to HCM and RCM and aims at further understanding the role of the N-Terminus of ELC in regulating cardiac muscle contraction in health and disease.
Congrats ! Next steps for him include: elaborating on the role of mitochondria in ELC animal models, writing a review paper and a scientific article! Good luck on his future endeavors!
