Please welcome Melanie Veerasammy, a junior majoring in Biology and minoring in Chemistry and Public Health at the University of Miami! She will be volunteering in the lab every day for the summer 2019.
She has many shadowing and leadership experience and wishes to pursue an MD-PhD degree following her bachelor’s degree. She will be working closely with graduate students and research assistants in the lab and her project will include: echocardiography data analysis, performing ATP chase experiments and subsequent data analysis and helping lab members with any other projects.
